List of FSSAI Food License Category

FSSAI issues three types of food licenses, one of which is basic registration. Small FBOs with an annual turnover of less than ₹12 lakh, such as small cafes, restaurants, food hawkers, and food stalls, can register under FSSAI basic registration. After basic registration, the second type is the FSSAI state license. FBOs with an annual turnover between ₹12 lakh and ₹20 crores can apply for this license. The third type is the FSSAI central license, which is mandatory for larger food entities with an annual turnover exceeding ₹20 crores. FSSAI Food License: A Must-Have for Every Food Business in India

In India, every person engaged in the food business must obtain an FSSAI food license which varies depending on the nature and the size of the business, as mandated by the FSSAI regulation 2011.
